Rail commuters can now use a mobile app to obtain tickets in the unreserved category as the Indian Railways takes forward its initiative for paperless ticketing. UTS APP customer care toll free Number
Paperless Un-Reserved Ticket through Mobile Application for entire Chennai sub-urban area, Mumbai sub-urban over Churchgate to Dahanu Road section and New Delhi to Palwal section of Northern Railway has been launched
 
UTS, is now available via the Google Play store. It has been developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). Having booked a ticket using the app, a commuter need not take a print-out of the same and can show its soft copy on the cellphone to the TTE.
Apart from being a green initiative, the paperless ticketing system is also aimed at saving time for passengers as it allows them to avoid lining up at the ticket window.

Here is how you can use UTS app:

1. As per the plan, a traveller can download the app from the Google Appstore for Android-based mobile phones.
2. After the download, the user will get a registration ID number for creation of a railway e-wallet.
3. Money for buying tickets will have to be loaded through the e-walletmobile payment system either online or at a ticket counter at any station.
4. Passengers have the option of topping up the e-wallet at ticket counters or on the IRCTC website using a credit or debit card.
5. Having booked a ticket using the App, a commuter needs not take a print-out of the same and he can show its soft copy on the cellphone to the TTE.
6. Besides booking tickets, season tickets can also be renewed using the app.
7. The passenger has to use the ticket within an hour of booking the ticket as per the policy of suburban sections.
8. The ticket will have distinct colour scheme everyday and it cannot be forwarded to another mobile, they said.
*Passengers have the option of topping up the e-wallet at ticket counters or on the IRCTC website using a credit or debit card,

  7. My name is Samar Ghorai. My UTS R wallet registered mobile no- 8170857024. On 2nd February by mistake I have surrendered my r wallet. For that reason I am not able to book tickets by the r wallet. My wallet balance remain 230/- I am requesting you sir to cancel my surrender process and let me book train tickets as usual.   23. I pintu Shaw, booked season ticket from Diamond harbour to Dum Dum cantonment on 31/08/19 at 12:45 pm through UTS app valid 31/08/19 to 30/09/19, booking ID -502, Order ID – 808310180957780. MY MOBILE NO – 9674471556. I went to sealdah for take ticket print out from atvp/kiosk machine but ticket print out not come out or other kiosk machine shows you are already take print out. I was contact with central booking they checked the machine entry but there was no entry in machine. They told me to complain to helpline they will solve ur problem. Please help me to take print out ticket or Providrbpaper less ticket to my UTS user ID – 9674471556

Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Ashish kumar saroj s/o Mr,.Arun Kumar Saroj, and my aunti Suman Devi was with me at that time (Date 18-08-2019 at 8:00 AM)when we were travelling from kalka mail 12311, We have taken a general ticket from UTS and UTS number is XM3WCGK002, for two person of Rs. 45×2=90, from Mirzapur to Allahabad, and By the train leaving We have sat in SL-1,and TTE Mr. Keshav Singh have charged us for Rs. 350 against my general ticket by telling this, “This ticket is not valid for train no. 12311 kalka mail. Is this really mean to an UTS Ticket?This was very shamefully journey for us.

I have called customer care number 138 but person replied to call 139, I again called 139 customer care person replied to email at [email protected] then I email at this email ID but again they replied “If you have mistakenly surrendered your wallet and again want to use it,
    then you can call the customer care number for your city and request for
    the same. However once refund has been collected from the railway counter
    no further reversion will be possible.” still i my problem is not solved

  50. Guys, I am from Hyderabad and regular commuter of the local MMTS service of indian railways. i had been using this app since one year, in the beginning it was okay and everything was fine. I used to suggest to everybody in my office to use this app, but lately to my sorrow, i started experiencing the same kind of problem like you are facing. Money is getting deducted, but the ticket is not booked, and the most worrisome factor is that there is no trace where the money is going.
    I am ashamed of myself that i suggested to others to use this app and it is me, now, who is requesting not to do so.

First time I have use this aap after seen the advertise that its e-ticket but after charge in R-Vallet and book the ticket its shown that before start the travelling I need to take the print out . I ask to railway employee then he said that I need to take this printout from cyber cafe so what the use of this Aap. Government make us full or what ??

    class pass from this app…the amount has got deducted – no pass recd
    ….and i will be a penalised as a ticket less traveler if i don’t
    separately buy a first class ticket til then — ONCE I RECEIVE THE
    REFUND NEVER EVER EVER EVER AM GOING TO USE THIS APP ..THEY DESERVE TO
    WORK AT THE COUNTERS AND FACE THE LONG LINES AND WE HAVE TO SUFFER ALONG
    …..ATLEASE GIVE AN EMAIL SAYING YOUR TICKET WILL BE ISSUED SHORTLY
    AND TILL THEN YOU CAN TRAVEL USING THIS EMAIL…WHY IHAVE TO SPEND TWICE
