These electrical consumers are categorized depending ont heir domestic, commercial, agricultural and industrial loads. UPCL is also the first electrical utility in India to initiate women empowerment by employing local women through Self Help Groups, as franchisees, for meter reading, bill distribution and revenue collection.

I applied for temporary connection at Bharuwala grant on 10/11 Jun 2019 with deposition of requisite fee of Rs 1000 and under regn NO-477110619013 dt 11 Jun 2019. Site survey/verification has been done by beat lineman on 21 jun 2019. however issue/installation of connection is still awaited.
For new connection application at Tanakpur(Champawat) applied on 28/03/2019 by reference no 112803190049 ,there is no action taken till date.
