  2. I, Nireeksha Rani, a resident of Mangalore was unemployed for several times and in search of job.
    During this period, it was learnt that there are vacancies in the post of Data entry operator in EPFO regional office Mangalore and submitted an application . There after I was called for an interview and got selected and appointed as a data entry operator on contract basis with Employees Provident Fund Organisation regional office Mangalore. It was told that we were outsourced through an agency which is registered with GEM portal and was selected for the service provider to supply man power to the EPFO Mangalore. It was also told that the appointment order will be given by the agency with the salary of Rs.625/- per day as Semi skilled worker and I was also enroll to PF and ESI and join to the duty with effect from 11.04.2022 and work till 24.08.22.
    The appointing agency was RIS Management Pvt.Ltd.
    122,Bishnupally,Purba Putiary 122,
    New Tollygunge,West Bengal,Kolkatta.
    The company is registered with EPFO having code *WBCAL0061277* .
    My UAN is *101451319956*
    The company who has come through GEM portal has shown certain percentage for service charges and was selected. Where as they irregular in paying wages and it was told several times that henceforth the wages will be paid on time, but from the date of joining they have not disbursed the wages and even the bills where submitted to the EPFO, further he has demanded to pay an additional amount as Commission for giving appointment in EPFO, that is Rs.1800/- per month. I denied to pay the same as he is getting the service charges from EPFO authority, but they have not taken any action to stop the agency doing the unethical practice of collecting the commission over and above the service charges. When I denied to pay the said amount,he has terminated me from the job and appointed another person in my place on 24.08.2022.
    I therefore request your kind selves to kindly take necessary action against the agency in terminating the contract with EPFO and necessary instruction may also be issued to the hiring employer to take stern action against the agency. I am also informing you that I am approaching to legal forum like Labour department,etc.
    Hope the necessary action will be initiated against the agency in Blacklisting from the portal.

  4. We regret the inconvenience facing by Gem Portal, after suspension and completion of and lead time till date we have not getting proper replay from Gem team and loosing out money because of not participating in Tenders. This loss is only because of Gem due to no proper action took in time.

  5. GeM contract award is not sent to my phone number registered with GeM. No mail also sent regarding GeM contract award to my mail id registered with GeM. Please see this and do the needful. Previously we always get this. Now we are not intimated.
