Covid vaccine registration for above 18 years begins started from April 28th in India. The beneficiaries will be able to register for the Covid 19 vaccine via the govt Cowin app and Cowin portal. This registration process will start on April 28th via the Aarogya Setu app. As you know this is just pre-booking and Covid 19 vaccination will start from May 1st 2121. How to register for the Covid vaccine?

First Visit the CoWIN portal:   https://selfregistration.cowin.gov.in/

. It’s compatible with all browsers out there or you can also download the CoWIN 2.0 app from Google Play Store for Android smartphone. This app is not yet available for iPhone users.

In the CoWIN 2.0 portal’s home page, scroll down to the ‘Find Your Nearest Vaccination Center’ section and then enter the place and your address. After that click on the ‘Register Yourself’ button.

Enter your mobile number to proceed with the process. Then you will get an OTP with which your account will be created.

After that fill required details and upload the ID proof documents. You will get the option to book an appointment for the vaccine.

 

COVID-19 vaccine registration via Aarogya Setu app

If you are registration Covid 19 vaccine via the Aarogya Setu app then you have to follow this process.
The health service app Aarogya Setu also allow users to register for COVID-19 vaccine. It allows beneficiaries to register themselves by verifying via a one-time password (OTP).

First you have to tap on the ‘CoWIN’ option it is available next to COVID Updates on the top menu of the app. Then tap on ‘Vaccination’ and after that select ‘Register Now’. If you’ve already registered, select ‘Login

Enter your mobile number and tap ‘Proceed to Verify’ you will receive An OTP on your phone. Use the OTP to enter your details, inoculation centre.

Only two vaccines are available in India so far Covishield made by the Serum Institute of India (SII), and Covaxin, which is developed locally by Bharat Biotech.
