Why haven’t I received the refund yet from Bookmyshow ?
As per bank timelines, you should have received the amount by now. Please do check your bank/wallet statement for the reversal. Ideally, if the amount is charged for an unsuccessful transaction, we process the refund from our end within 2 hours. Depending on the bank it takes a maximum of 3-4 working days (does not include Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) for the amount to reflect into the payment source.
Transactions done via a nationalized bank takes 10 working days to get refunded to the payment source.
In case you have made payment using any wallets, you shall expect a refund within 24- 48 hrs.

Cancellation of A Ticket
How can I return my ticket in BookMyShow?
Steps to cancel the tickets:
Step 1: Go to the BookMyShow official website i.e. in.bookmyshow.com
Step 2: Login with your registered email address
Step 3: Go to the hamburger option(right bottom corner)
Step 4: Select the purchase history from the Booking history(right top corner)
Step 5: Select your booking and scroll down to the cancellation option.
Step 6: Click on confirm.
Note: Cancellation feature available for selected cinema only. The refund will be done according to the cancellation policy. To avail the cancellation feature, the users need to be logged in while transacting.
In order to avail the cancellation feature, the user needs to be logged in while transacting. All you need to do is click on the booking you wish to cancel under the ‘Purchase History’ section and hit the cancel tab.
When you click on the cancel tab you get an option to select between a refund to source or BMS Cash.
No longer, will you lose the entire amount and you will get a 70% of the ticket amount refunded within 5 to 7 working days and in case opted for BMS Cash it will reflect within 4 hours in your profile.
Please note: You would be unable to cancel a ticket if you have applied an offer code, payback or any other loyalty points.
